Musings
Life has certainly gotten in the way of well a lot of things. I stopped writing, drawing and taking pictures. With Camp NaNoWriMo going on, I am hoping that I will be able to break through this Writer's Block. As for taking pictures, I can't seem to find any inspiration where I am. Perhaps a change of environment is in order. It just a matter of finding the courage to do so.
Drawing Away
After some encouragement from my cousin, I am starting my art project. He is such a talented artist and his advice has been invaluable. I am keeping my fingers crossed and being patient. I have managed to draw Alice and Winnie the Pooh in the past but I think with more practice I will get better. I have plenty of time, it is warmer on the ice planet Hoth than here. So I shall not be going outside anytime soon.
Thoughts
Life has taken me in so many directions that I have not had time to spend here that I would like too. I miss seeing the incredible art and connecting with other people. Now that things have calmed down I will be able to take pictures and attempt to draw. Though I think I am getting better at the latter!
Drawing and Camp NaNoWriMo
Still working on the drawing. I am starting with the basics trying not to do too much too soon. I am making progress and hopefully I will have something to share soon. Camp NaNoWriMo is coming up next month. I the story planned out and ready to go. It was fun the last two times I did it, I am hoping for a more active cabin this time. We started out ok last time but everyone just tapered off a bit. We shall see, I am excited though.
